Terms of Service

By accessing or using QSNotes you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher), that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them.

If you are using QSNotes on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

QSNotes provides real-time collaborative whiteboards for individuals and teams. You can create boards, add notes and media, and invite teammates to collaborate.

The service is currently in beta. This means features may change, data may be lost, and the service may be unavailable at times. We provide QSNotes “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with or without notice.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

Each person may maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions, limits, or other restrictions is not permitted.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@qsnotes.xyz. Deletion is permanent and removes all boards and associated data.

You agree not to use QSNotes to:

• Upload, transmit, or store content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Send spam, unsolicited communications, or bulk invitations.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the service by automated means without our written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, another user's account, or our infrastructure.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

We may remove content that violates these rules and suspend or terminate accounts responsible for that content.

Your content belongs to you. You retain all intellectual property rights in the boards, notes, and media you create in QSNotes.

By using the service, you grant Quasar Notes a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service. This licence ends when you delete your content or your account.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you upload does not infringe the rights of others.

You may stop using QSNotes at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or that continued access poses a risk to other users or to the service.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including content ownership, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Quasar Notes will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Because QSNotes is currently free, this amount is zero ($0).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. If you are located in such a jurisdiction, some of these limitations may not apply to you.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email. Your continued use of QSNotes after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please stop using the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Quasar Notes operates. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
